I have extensive experience providing counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, families, children, and groups as well as business consulting and executive coaching in San Jose and Silicon Valley.
Having received advanced clinical training in a variety of behavior therapies, I specialize in counseling and therapy using Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (with exposure therapy) for a variety of issues including anxiety (Generalized Anxiety (GAD), Social Anxiety / Shyness (SAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)), depression, couples, marital, and premarital counseling, individual relationship difficulties, as well as difficulties with emotion regulation and stress management.

I take a behavioral, solution-focused approach to counseling. As a researcher (Stanford University and UC Berkeley), my goal is utilize the most current empirically-supported methodologies to assist you with skills and strategies needed to help build on your strengths and resources while also helping you identify barriers to success and happiness. Although my therapy style is directive and goal-oriented, I conduct counseling sessions in a warm, nonjudgmental, and compassionate manner.
